Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The authors of the above-named submission hereby declare that the submitted manuscript is solely developed and written by the named authors themselves and no ghostwriting services have been included during the text production and/or submission process. Furthermore, as per the Educaniora journal regulations, the use of any artificial intelligence software (e.g., chatbots or other language processing tools) for text production is not accepted and will result in the rejection of the manuscript. The journal editorial board has the right to reject a manuscript for the above-described reasons at any time during the review, editorial, or publication process.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • In Step 3: Metadata: fill in ALL authors (use “Add Contributor” button). Choose one corresponding author (primary contact) and use your institutional email addresses.
  • The text is written in English or Indonesian and meets this journal's formatting requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Welcome to Educaniora: Journal of Education and Humanities. We are dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the fields of education and humanities. To ensure the integrity and quality of the work we publish, we have established a comprehensive set of guidelines for authors. Please read and adhere to the following guidelines to ensure your manuscript meets our standards.

Scientific Writing

Submissions to Educaniora must fulfill all requirements of scientific writing as summarized below. Authors are encouraged to carefully read and adhere to these guidelines to ensure their manuscript meets the journal's standards.

Key Points

  • Language: Articles will be accepted only in English or Indonesian.
  • References: References must be written in text using APA 7th edition style.
  • Formatting: Articles may be rejected if not formatted according to the Template.
  • Corresponding Author: An article can have 1 corresponding author (primary contact), who handles all editorial communication, receives the invoice, receives the page proof, and is responsible for its approval.
  • Email: Use your institutional email address in the journal metadata and the article itself, and check spam on a regular basis.

What should you submit?

Submitted contributions undergo a double-blind review. To make this possible, please adhere to the following steps:

  • Initial Submission: Submit an anonymized file without the authors' names.
  • Post-Acceptance Submission: Once your paper is accepted, upload a final DOC, DOCX, or RTF version with the authors' names included. Ensure the authors' names are directly below the paper title and in the CV section at the end of the paper.

Procedure

  1. Article Submission: Submit your manuscript through our online submission system.
  2. Initial Decision: A decision on acceptance for review will be made within approximately 2 weeks.
  3. Peer Review: The peer review process takes around 6 weeks.
  4. Final Version: If accepted, a final version of the manuscript will be required.
  5. Letter of Acceptance (LoA): An LoA will be sent to the corresponding author.
  6. Publication: Your paper will be published in the journal.

Correspondence

All correspondence will be conducted with the corresponding author. The corresponding author should use an institutional email address that is active and regularly check spam folders. The email address must be consistent in the paper and in the article metadata in the journal.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

We are pleased to inform you that our journal does not require any Article Submission Fee and the Article Publication Charge (APC) is waived. Authors can submit and publish their articles free of charge. We believe in providing an open and accessible platform for knowledge dissemination and encourage authors to take advantage of this opportunity.
